Desktop Eudora 5.0 codes do not work in EIS 1.1

ISSUE:

My registration code for Eudora 5.0 will not work with EIS 1.1

OR

After I installed Eudora 5.0, EIS nags to register - and I already registered.

SOLUTION:

Eudora version 5 has a different scheme of registration codes and was developed after EIS 1.1 was.

The fix is to download the current version. It's much cooler, it has a ton of new features and it's free.
