How to Create, Delete and Rename a Mailbox (Palm)

Create up to a total of 15 mailboxes for storing email messages. Note: that the In, Out and Trash take up three mailboxes.

Creating Mailboxes

To create a mailbox from Eudora:

1. Tap the mailbox window in the upper right corner.

2. Tap Edit Mailboxes.

3. The Edit Mailbox window appears, Tap New.

4. The New Mailbox appears, Graffit the name of the Mailbox.

5. Tap OK to confirm your changes.

Deleting Mailboxes

If you no longer need a mailbox, you can delete it. If you delete a mailbox that has messages stored in it, the messages are transfered to the trash. To delete a mailbox:

• Tap the mailbox window in the upper right corner.

• Tap Edit Mailboxes.

• The Edit Mailboxes window appears.

• Tap the mailbox you want to delete.

• Tap the Delete button.

• Tap OK to delete the mailbox and move the messages stored in it to the Trash.

• Tap OK to exit.

Note: Any Filters you have set up will need to be remodified.

Renaming Mailboxes

You can rename a mailbox at any time. To rename a mailbox:

• Tap the mailbox window in the upper right corner.

• Tap Edit Mailboxes.

• Tap the mailbox you want to rename.

• Tap the Rename button.

• Graffiti the new mailbox name in the Edit Mailboxes window.

• Tap OK, you will see the mailbox name change.

• Tap OK to exit.

Note: Any Filters you have set up with the old mailbox name will automatically update.
